Gas Scrubber

Gas Scrubber

Deaerators provide various options, such as spray, tray, or packing, to facilitate the interaction between boiler feed water and steam.

PANTAN designs deaerators for use in small industrial plants up to large utility applications.

A gas scrubber, also known as a gas absorber, is a type of air pollution control device that is used to remove harmful pollutants from industrial exhaust gases. Gas scrubbers work by introducing a liquid or solid scrubbing agent into the exhaust gas stream, which reacts with and removes the pollutants.

Gas scrubbers are commonly used in a variety of industries, such as:

  • Chemical and petrochemical
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Food and beverage
  • Power plants to remove sulfur dioxide and other harmful emissions from flue gases

There are several types of gas scrubbers, including:

  • Spray towers: Removing pollutants by spraying liquid scrubbing agent.
  • Packed bed scrubbers: Packing materials are used to increase the surface area available for contact between the gas and the scrubbing agent.
  • Jet scrubbers: A high-velocity jet of liquid is used to create a pressure drop that causes the gas to mix with the scrubbing agent.

The choice of gas scrubber depends on the specific requirements of the application, such as the type and concentration of pollutants in the gas stream, the flow rate of the gas, and the available space for installation.

These products are designed, produced and assembled according to the specifications of the client. Offering scrubber packages as a practical technique to reduce pollution in different businesses is our strategy to save the environment
